Sometimes we don’t notice the fun in a moment until the moment has passed. I use art in various mediums to reflect on mundane moments in sentimental ways, experiencing things past while maintaining presence. I paint on found or reclaimed objects, create textiles with scraps, and put tattoos on lovely humans.

In paintings or textile works I’m drawn to color and form; Drawing inspiration from antiques, folk art, and daily interactions with the world around me, my works feel familiar but fuzzy, like an embellished memory.

In my tattooing practice I hardly ever use color and only tattoo by hand (no machine). My tattoos are handmade with care; I prefer to tattoo how humans have tattooed each other for centuries, no machine, just a needle and ink.
